Football Recap: St. Mary's Skates Past Justice with Ease + How To Watch

While St. Mary put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Justice. The Pirates really took it to the Phoenix for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 win. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

St. Mary's had a senior duo take command as Michael Trechter rushed for 103 yards and one score on only seven carries and Jackson Beam picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Beam really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Mary's proved: they limited Justice to a paltry 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Reggie Harmon for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Mary's didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.2.
