Soccer Game Preview: Brentsville District vs. North Stafford

The Brentsville District Tigers will square off against the North Stafford Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brentsville District will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Tuesday, then bounced right back against James Monroe on Friday. The Tigers blew past the Yellow Jackets 7-1. With Brentsville District ahead 6-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, North Stafford kept a clean sheet against Riverbend on Tuesday. They beat the Bears by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that North Stafford have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Arthur Etoa, who's now up to three this season.

North Stafford's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-1-1. As for Brentsville District, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
