Basketball Game Preview: Lake George Lakers vs. Whitehall Railroaders + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Lake George will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Whitehall Railroaders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Lake George can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Saratoga Central Catholic.

Lake George might have lost, but man, Morgan Stanco was a machine: she dropped a double-double with 23 points and 20 boards. Madyson Brennan was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Whitehall over Waterford-Halfmoon in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Railroaders strolled past the Fordians with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Railroaders.

Lake George skirted past Whitehall 31-29 when the teams last played back in February. Will the Lakers repeat their success, or do the Railroaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
