It was a proper cat-fight when Academy at the Lakes took on Cristo Rey Tampa on Wednesday. The Wildcats blew past the Panthers 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Hernando Christian Academy lost 3-0 to Seven Rivers Christian on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hernando Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 26-24.

Hernando Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Academy at the Lakes, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
