Pomona had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Manual Thunderbolts, posting a 48-6 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the 11th in a row for Pomona, bringing their record up to 16-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.2 points on average over those games. As for Manual, they moved to 14-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pomona has already played their next contest, a 13-12 loss against Mountain View on the 22nd. Manual does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
