Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Ellsworth fell 3-1 to St. Croix Central. Ellsworth was not able to make up for their loss to St. Croix Central from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ellsworth has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for St. Croix Central, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-16.

Ellsworth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Prescott on the 9th. As for St. Croix Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Altoona at 7:00 p.m.
