Baseball Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Piedmont's offense. They came up short against the Arroyo Grande Eagles on Tuesday, falling 15-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Highlanders have suffered since March 12th.

Piedmont has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-2 record this season. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Piedmont will take on Lompoc in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Arroyo Grande, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Francis at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
