Cornerstone Charter waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Bethany Community Wolves 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-7.

Caroline Smith paced Cornerstone Charter's offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Ashley Belland and her 26 assists. Bella Honeycutt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cornerstone Charter's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Bethany Community, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Charter will square off against Page at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bethany Community, they are taking a road trip to challenge Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
