Recap: Franklin Wildcats vs. Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack
Even though the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack scored an imposing 68 points on Wednesday, the Franklin Wildcats still came out on top. Franklin walked away with an 81-68 victory over Cosumnes Oaks. Given Franklin's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Cosumnes Oaks is ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Franklin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Rollins out in front who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Juarros, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 21-6 record this season. As for Cosumnes Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.
Franklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-47 victory vs. Elk Grove on the 9th. Cosumnes Oaks has also already played their next contest, a 102-63 defeat against Sheldon on the 9th.
