St. Mary has gone 9-1 against Cathedral recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The St. Mary's Spartans will face off against the Cathedral Panthers at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in St. Mary's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matches.

Meanwhile, Cathedral entered their game against Bishop Fenwick on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Cathedral took a 50-36 bruising from Bishop Fenwick. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 14 points.

St. Mary's pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Cathedral, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

St. Mary's came up short against Cathedral in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 69-59. Can St. Mary's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
