Palma extended the longest winning streak in Monterey Bay - Gabilan this week by beating Gilroy, 73-34. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Chieftains.
Monterey took down Christopher 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Christopher's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sterlin Montgomery has thrown for 1458 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Rayshon Mills has 40 catches for 546 yards. Zach Almash leads the league in rushing with 432 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when San Benito takes on Palma. At the moment, the Haybalers are in fourth, while the Chieftains are in second.
Palma led Monterey Bay - Gabilan in scoring this week after putting up 73 points on the Mustangs.
