Ruby Cortez Game Report: vs Escondido

Ruby Cortez, San Pasqual's leading rusher, solidified her role on Monday. Cortez was dynamite, rushing for 152 yards and a pair of TDs on only 10 carries. The 152 yards were her most since September 18th, when she rushed for 263 vs. Orange Glen.

Looking ahead, San Pasqual's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Canyon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last time Cortez took on the Rattlers, she was just phenomenal, rushing for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 10 carries, while also catching 1 score. Can she match (or beat) that stellar performance? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more flag football content.
