Greater Johnstown had taken Ferndale down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Yellow Jackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Greater Johnstown was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-20.

Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Ferndale, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
