Baseball Recap: Clinton-Massie Comes Up Short

Clinton-Massie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Batavia, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Clinton-Massie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Batavia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Clinton-Massie will host New Richmond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Batavia, they will welcome Indian Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
