Volleyball Recap: South View Takes a Loss

South View managed to slip by Hoke County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bucks on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row dating back to last season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-17.

Jaelani McCormick paced South View's offense, picking up four kills. McCormick got some help from Grace Horne and her five assists. Aniyah Baxter controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South View's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hoke County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, South View and Hoke County will both be playing Scotland the next time they take the court. The Bucks will head out to face the Fighting Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
