Frankton wins going away against Eastbrook

Recap: Frankton Eagles vs. Eastbrook Panthers
The Frankton Eagles won the last time they faced the Eastbrook Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Frankton took down Eastbrook 59-42. Given Frankton's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Eastbrook is ranked 334th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Frankton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Wright led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 9 assists and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Nunley, who scored 11 points.
Frankton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eastbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Frankton will head out on the road to face off against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Shenandoah will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Eastbrook, they will be playing at home against Smith Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
