Preview: Gruver Greyhounds vs. West Texas Comanches
Gruver is 9-1 against West Texas since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Gruver Greyhounds will head out on the road to square off against the West Texas Comanches at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gruver comes in on four and West Texas on eight.
Even though Sanford-Fritch scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Gruver still came out on top. Gruver walked away with a 64-55 victory over Sanford-Fritch.
Meanwhile, West Texas strolled past Booker with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-33.
Gruver is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for West Texas, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Gruver beat West Texas 54-46 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Gruver repeat their success, or does West Texas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
