Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sandpoint). They claimed a resounding 56-15 victory over the Pocatello Thunder. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.
Braden Buckhout was his usual excellent self, throwing for 236 yards and four TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (162.4). A healthy portion of Buckhout's aerial production (94 yards to be exact) went to Maverick Gomez.
Sandpoint was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 212 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
