Ankeny Centennial waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sioux City North Stars. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stars, too.

Among those leading the charge was Mya Lei Butters, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight contests. Mady Ott also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Ankeny Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Sioux City North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Ankeny Centennial will venture away from home to challenge Johnston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sioux City North, they will welcome Le Mars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stars are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
