Basketball Game Preview: Delta Saints vs. Leroy Greene Academy Lions

The Delta Saints will square off against the Leroy Greene Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Delta lost 75-55 to Creative Connections Arts Academy on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Delta got top-tier performance from Lucas Keller, who went 13 for 20 on his way to 34 points and five rebounds. That was a full 61.8% of Delta's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cruz Parkinson, who earned ten points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Leroy Greene Academy took a blow against Westlake Charter on Tuesday, falling 63-32.

Leroy Greene Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10. As for Delta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Delta didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Leroy Greene Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 37-32 victory.
