Thomas Nelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Marion County Knights, falling 59-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 49-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Thomas Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Marion County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
