The Eaglecrest Raptors will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the Fort Collins Lambkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Eaglecrest is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Rangeview. Eaglecrest breezed by Rangeview on the road to the tune of 44-14 on Friday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.

Eaglecrest had a senior duo take command as Burke Withycombe gained 125 total yards and three touchdowns and Joe Steiner threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Meanwhile, Fort Collins took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They blew past Northglenn 48-18 at home.

Fort Collins' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Justin Cranford, who rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and Jack Mckeon, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Mckeon got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible71 yards. Another big playmaker for Fort Collins was Levi Hermsen, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
