Basketball Game Preview: Manistee Chippewas vs. North Muskegon Norsemen

Manistee is 0-3 against North Muskegon since January of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Manistee Chippewas will welcome the North Muskegon Norsemen at 7:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Manistee came up short against St. Francis and fell 42-35.

Meanwhile, North Muskegon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Hart by a score of 56-45. Given the Norsemen's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Pirates are ranked 386th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Muskegon pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Manistee, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.
