Basketball Recap: Hartford Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Hartford won the last time they faced Comstock and things went their way on Friday too. The Hartford Huskies managed a 45-41 win over the Comstock Colts. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Colts are ranked 557th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Hartford's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. As for Comstock, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Hartford and Centreville will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Centreville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Hartford likes a good challenge. As for Comstock, they will face off against Marcellus at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Marcellus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season.
