Milton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lewisburg Green Dragons as they made off with a 16-3 win. The Black Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Milton pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Lewisburg, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Milton and Lewisburg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Black Panthers will challenge Mifflinburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (270 vs. 36). Meanwhile, Lewisburg (ranked 517th) will meet Central Columbia (ranked 64th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
