After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coronado, Plainview was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Caprock Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).
One reason for the win was Plainview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-17.
Plainview's win bumped their record up to 14-19. As for Caprock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.
Plainview will challenge Lubbock at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Caprock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
