Nipomo entered their tilt with Orcutt Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Eli Silveira was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Nipomo is undefeated when Silveira posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Nate Potter also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Nipomo pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Orcutt Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Nipomo will face off against Paso Robles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orcutt Academy, they will square off against Morro Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
