Soccer Recap: Broad Run Comes Up Short

Broad Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodgrove Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Broad Run can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Woodgrove are ranked 88th).

Broad Run's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Woodgrove, they pushed their record up to 9-3-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Broad Run is set to square off against their familiar foe Park View at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Woodgrove will face off against rival Loudoun County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
