Soccer Game Preview: Klein vs. Klein Forest

The Klein Bearkats are taking a road trip to challenge the Klein Forest Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Klein came up short against Klein Cain on Saturday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Klein can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Klein Cain are ranked 103rd).

Meanwhile, Klein Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Magnolia West.

Klein Forest's goal came courtesy of Agustin Zuniga, who's now up to ten this season.

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for Klein Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1.

Klein got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January against Klein Forest by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearkats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
