Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Gonzaga Prep Bullpups

Ridgeline has won 11 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Gonzaga Prep has won 11 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Ridgeline Falcons will welcome the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Ridgeline slipped by Sandpoint 45-44.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep earned a 72-65 victory over University on Friday. Given the Bullpups' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Titans are ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gonzaga Prep has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Ridgeline, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Ridgeline came up short against Gonzaga Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 65-53. Can Ridgeline avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
