Basketball Recap: Racine Park Takes a Loss

Racine Park lost against Whitnall back in November of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Racine Park Panthers were dealt a 67-40 loss at the hands of the Whitnall Falcons.

Whitnall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Riley Ward, who went 6-for-14 on her way to 20 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Kailtlyn Kaye, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds.

Racine Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. Whitnall's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

Racine Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitnall, they have already played their next game, a 53-38 victory against Greenfield on the 1st.
