Softball Preview: Cambridge Bears vs. Kell Longhorns

Cambridge has won four straight games at home, while Kell has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Cambridge Bears will host the Kell Longhorns at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cambridge's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Centennial 12-0. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly 12 runs.

Cambridge got a great performance from Eve Roszkowski as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Roszkowski has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Anna Setterlind was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Becker, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
