Sinton is 7-2 against Calhoun since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sinton Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Calhoun Sandcrabs at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Sinton against Ingleside as the squad secured a 49-18 victory.

Meanwhile, Calhoun had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 45-39 W over Ingleside on Tuesday.

Calhoun's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-18. As for Sinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Sinton took their victory against Calhoun when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 46-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sinton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
