Shore - Central B recap November 5, 2013
Shore Regional extended the longest winning streak in Shore - Central B this week by beating Keansburg, 59-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Shore Regional took down the Titans 59-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Matt Muh threw for 134 yards and 1 touchdown during the win.
Mark Costantino's team's dynamic duo of Muh and Nick Kessler proved tough for Keansburg to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Chris Francisco helped Shore Regional's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 27 yards.
Robert Barksdale provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Asbury Park topped Middlesex. He completed 6 passes for 120 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 103 yards. Barksdale's favorite target this week was Tyquis Davis, who caught 2 passes for 58 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Bishops' Barksdale and Jaedon Stephens have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Barksdale has thrown for 827 yards this season, while Stephens has 20 catches for 292 yards. Kason Preston from Chris Damian's team leads the league in rushing with 655 yards.
As it stands, the Blue Devils are in second, while Keyport/Hudson Regional is in fourth.
Shore Regional led the league in scoring this week after putting up 59 points on the Titans. Muh in the win.
