Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Creekside Christian Academy walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 16-14. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Ian Terrell had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 123 yards, while also catching one TD.

Terrell was just one part of a punishing run game: Creekside Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 232 rushing yards. The Cougars are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Creekside Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Creekside Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lanier Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Lightning's defense has only allowed 10.9 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. Rock Springs Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
