Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Creekside Christian Academy walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles 16-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since October 18, 2024.

It was another big night for Ian Terrell, who rushed for 123 yards, and also caught one touchdown.

Terrell was just one part of a punishing run game: Creekside Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 232 rushing yards. The Cougars are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Creekside Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

After each having a week off, Creekside Christian Academy and Lanier Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Lightning will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Rock Springs Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
