Basketball Recap: Kennedy Memorial Comes Up Short

Kennedy Memorial lost against New Providence back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs took a 72-57 bruising from the New Providence Pioneers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for New Providence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Kennedy Memorial will be playing at home against Spotswood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Spotswood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Kennedy Memorial likes a good challenge. As for New Providence, they will welcome Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. New Providence has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
