Basketball Game Preview: Labette County Grizzlies vs. Fort Scott Tigers

The Labette County Grizzlies will take on the Fort Scott Tigers on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Labette County comes in on three and Fort Scott on five.

Last Friday, Labette County blew past Chanute, posting a 61-30 victory. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Landry Obrien was her usual excellent self, going 9-for-17 en route to 23 points and five assists. Obrien is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Boss, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Fort Scott was able to grind out a solid win over Pittsburg on Friday, taking the game 35-25.

Labette County's record is now 15-2. As for Fort Scott, their record is now 14-3.

Labette County came up short against Fort Scott in their previous meeting on February 5th, falling 53-44. Can Labette County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
