Volleyball Game Preview: Ipswich Tigers vs. Masconomet Regional Chieftains

Ipswich is 0-7 against Masconomet Regional since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Chieftains at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Ipswich managed to slip by Hamilton-Wenham Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Generals on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Ipswich was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Masconomet Regional suffered their biggest defeat since September 5th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Billerica Memorial. The Chieftains have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Masconomet Regional's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Ipswich, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
