Football Game Preview: Georgetown Bulldogs vs. Dillon Wildcats

Georgetown hasn't had much luck against Dillon recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Georgetown has given up an average of 36.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Georgetown came up short against Aynor on Friday, falling 42-20. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Meanwhile, Dillon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Warriors 41-17. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Dillon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Georgetown was taken down by Dillon 56-0 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Rahmond Hamilton (who threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
