Soccer Recap: Casteel Falls Short Against Ranked Hamilton

On Friday, Casteel faced Hamilton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Casteel Colts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Huskies. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Colts couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Carson Pham, who's now up to two this season.

Casteel dropped their record down to 8-7-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hamilton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

While Casteel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
