Volleyball Recap: Wimberley Texans vs. Randall Raiders
Wimberley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a set and slipped past the Randall Raiders 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Texans sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Laney Hennessee paced Wimberley's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hennessee got some help from
Skylar Herring and her 19 assists. Hennessee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Wimberley is on a roll lately: they've won 28 of their last 29 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 42-3 record this season. As for Randall, they moved to 30-13 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Wimberley nor Randall have any future games scheduled.
