Baseball Recap: Junction City Comes Up Short

Junction City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hays Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Junction City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamarcus Tyson, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Junction City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Hays, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Junction City nor Hays have any future games scheduled.
