Basketball Recap: Chisholm Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Frontier typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Chisholm proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Frontier Mustangs by a score of 74-63. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Longhorns' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Mustangs are ranked 59th).

Chisholm's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Frontier, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chisholm will host Fairview at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairview will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Chisholm surely won't give up without a fight. Frontier has already played their next matchup (against Alva), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
