Basketball Recap: Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus lost to Boulder City back in February of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights strolled past the Boulder City Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 85-69. The Blue Knights pushed the score to 70-44 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Sean Pendleton and Luke Wright certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Pendleton went 8 of 16 en route to 22 points, while Wright posted 15 points along with eight assists and eight boards. The matchup was Wright's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Birch, who had 11 points.

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus' victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Boulder City, they moved to 3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Democracy Prep Agassi Campus will take on Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boulder City, they will challenge Doral Academy Red Rock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
