Softball Recap: Cathedral Takes a Loss

Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 19-7 to the St. Catharine Academy Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-8 on Friday.

Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for St. Catharine Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cathedral has already played their next matchup, a 27-17 defeat against Mt. St. Ursula Academy on the 12th. As for St. Catharine Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-13 loss against St. Raymond Academy for Girls on the 9th.
