Basketball Recap: Linden-Kildare Takes a Loss

Linden-Kildare was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by the Union Grove Lions 80-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-23 back in January.

Linden-Kildare's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Union Grove, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-13.

Linden-Kildare will square off against Hawkins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hawkins will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Linden-Kildare surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Grove, they will take on Ore City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ore City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
