Basketball Recap: Alexandria City Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Tarik Sesay and Kyheim Johnson

Alexandria City lost against Lake Braddock back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Alexandria City Titans took a hard 76-58 fall against the Lake Braddock Bruins. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Kyheim Johnson and Tarik Sesay certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Johnson went 7 for 17 on his way to 19 points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Sesay went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Trey Kelley, who posted eight points.

Alexandria City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Lake Braddock, they moved to 9-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Alexandria City will challenge South County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexandria City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. As for Lake Braddock, they will face off against West Potomac at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
