Basketball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville lost against Beebe back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jacksonville Titans lost 54-30 to the Beebe Badgers. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Badgers are ranked 21st).

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Beebe, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jacksonville will welcome Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jacksonville is facing Greenbrier at the right time seeing as Greenbrier is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Beebe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vilonia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Vilonia comes in on three and Beebe on four.
