             The Circle Thunderbirds will venture away from home to  take on the Winfield Vikings  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Circle is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, Circle was beaten by Buhler 54-14. The Thunderbirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  41-0.
 Although Circle took the loss, they still got scores from  Dominic Sawyer and  Paxton Hall.
 Meanwhile,  Winfield's undefeated season came to an end after  three games  on Friday. They took  a  29-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of McPherson. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.
 Circle's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Winfield, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 3-1.
 Everything went Circle's way against Winfield in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, as Circle made off with  a  45-23 win. In that  game, Circle amassed a halftime lead of  28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
